Body cream / body butter with coconut, argan and sweet almond oils

This cream will surprise you with its smooth texture and moisturising power. When you spread it on, you will feel it oily, but after a few minutes, your skin will absorb it and stay moisturised for hours.

Ingredients:

  • 100 g shea butter or cocoa butter (if you want to make it less grainy)
  • 50 g coconut oil
  • 4 tablespoons of almond oil
  • 4 tablespoons of argan oil
  • Melt in a bain-marie and then whisk in a blender.
  • 10 drops of vitamin E

I recommend you to use organic ingredients if you can, it is always much better.

Preparation:

Mix all the ingredients together with a wooden spoon or wooden spatula and place in a glass container with an airtight seal in a cool place away from light. If it becomes "lumpy", you can also whisk the mixture with a blender.

To use, spread with your finger, a make-up brush or a silicone or wooden spatula. Allow the skin to absorb the oils before getting dressed, as you may stain your clothes if you do not. Be careful with black clothes, as baking soda can sometimes leave a white stain.

As coconut oil is liquid from 25° and creamy below, it is preferable to add a little less starch in winter and a little more in summer, or to keep it in the fridge if it is hot.

Important note: Due to its high oil content, it is normal to notice that your skin feels oily at first when you first apply this cream. However, once your skin has absorbed it after several minutes, the effect will last for a long time, your skin will be soft and moisturised and you won't feel like you have shiny, oily skin after a few hours.
