This recipe can be accompanied with bean sprouts or other sprouts to taste, sesame and nuts such as pistachios, chopped almonds etc., it's a matter of taste. If you like it spicy, you can add a few drops of Tabasco to the mixture.
Ingredients:
- 1 medium bluefin tuna fillet
- 2 small avocados, half ripe
- A small piece of leek (5 cm or so)
- Half a lemon
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 heaped tablespoons of tapioca starch
- ½ tablespoon Perrins sauce
- Sesame seeds
- Salt
Preparation:
Chop the tuna and leek and mix in a bowl. Mix 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1/2 tablespoon of Perrins sauce in a glass, add to the tuna and leek and mix again. Leave to marinate for at least 1 hour in the bowl.
After 1 hour or more, cut the avocado into cubes and place in a bowl, add a little salt, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, the juice of half a lemon and stir everything together. Place on a plate and top with the tuna and sesame seeds.
Note 1: Tuna loin and belly are the best cuts of tuna to prepare the tartar. Instead of tuna, you can opt for salmon, emperor or sea bass.
Note 2: It is preferable that any fish you are going to eat raw or marinated spend at least 24 hours in the freezer to avoid any risk.
