Tengo que hablaros de la taza del wáter. Sí sí, el wc, el inodoro. Resulta que, desde mi punto de vista, una causa muy importante para padecer infecciones de orina es la utilización de los wc de asiento (vamos, los wc “normales”). Esto está relacionado de nuevo con la estática del suelo pélvico, la relajación muscular y la alineación de la uretra. Hay que saber que nuestra manera natural de orinar, al menos en el caso de las mujeres, es a cuclillas. Esta posición favorece la relajación del suelo pélvico y la alineación del cuello vesical con la uretra. Si embargo, si nos sentamos a 90° y, sobre todo, si nuestras rodillas quedan por debajo de las caderas (lo que es la posición más habitual cuando nos sentamos en el wáter), esta relajación y alineación no se producirán, y es probable que la micción se realice de manera disfuncional. Es por ello que los inodoros de tipo turco (esos que no son más que una especie de agujero en el suelo), aunque parezcan una asquerosidad, permiten una manera mucho más fisiológica de orinar. Como sé que la mayoría de la gente no tiene este tipo de inodoro en casa ni en el trabajo, y no es plan de llamar al fontanero para que lo instale, en próximos artículos te daré unos cuantos consejos útiles para adoptar una posición correcta.
