Por un lado, si comemos mientras estamos digiriendo la comida anterior, se mezclar\u00e1n en nuestro est\u00f3mago alimentos m\u00e1s y menos digeridos, pudiendo favorecer el paso al duodeno de alimentos m\u00e1s enteros, con la consiguiente sobrecarga del p\u00e1ncreas y del h\u00edgado, que favorecer\u00e1 la digesti\u00f3n incompleta y la fermentaci\u00f3n y putrefacci\u00f3n de algunos alimentos, como hemos visto en el art\u00edculo sobre la digesti\u00f3n:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/urolistic.com\/blog\/2025\/05\/26\/como-se-realiza-la-digestion-y-por-que-ciertos-alimentos-no-se-deben-mezclar\/\">Como se realiza la digesti\u00f3n y por qu\u00e9 ciertos alimentos no se deben mezclar<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por otro lado, la ingesta frecuente de alimento inhibe la aparici\u00f3n del llamado \u201ccomplejo motor migratorio\u201d (CMM). El CMM son unos movimientos del intestino que se producen una vez la digesti\u00f3n ha finalizado, durante el periodo de ayuno, cuando el est\u00f3mago y las primeras porciones del intestino delgado est\u00e1n libres de alimentos, mientras que se inhiben cuando ingerimos de nuevo. Son los famosos \u201cruidos de tripas\u201d de cuando sentimos hambre. Estos movimientos sirven para eliminar los desechos de la digesti\u00f3n y trasladarlos al colon, para que posteriormente sean aprovechados por nuestras bacterias del intestino grueso, y que lo que sobre, sea eliminado por las heces. Si no permitimos a nuestro intestino que ponga en marcha a menudo el CMM porque no le damos periodos de reposo, estaremos favoreciendo la acumulaci\u00f3n de productos de desecho y la consiguiente inflamaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como el sobrecrecimiento bacteriano en lugares como el intestino delgado, llamado SIBO, donde en teor\u00eda deber\u00eda haber un n\u00famero limitado de microorganismos. Es por ello que muchas personas que realizan periodos de ayuno intermitente o de ayuno m\u00e1s prolongado comentan que una de las primeras cosas que han notado es una mejor\u00eda a nivel digestivo (menos sensaci\u00f3n de hinchaz\u00f3n por ejemplo).
