D'une part, si nous mangeons alors que nous sommes en train de dig\u00e9rer le repas pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent, des aliments plus ou moins dig\u00e9r\u00e9s seront m\u00e9lang\u00e9s dans notre estomac, ce qui peut favoriser le passage dans le duod\u00e9num d'aliments plus complets, avec pour cons\u00e9quence une surcharge du pancr\u00e9as et du foie, ce qui favorisera une digestion incompl\u00e8te et la fermentation et la putr\u00e9faction de certains aliments, comme nous l'avons vu dans l'article sur la digestion :\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/urolistic.com\/fr\/blog\/2025\/05\/26\/como-se-realiza-la-digestion-y-por-que-ciertos-alimentos-no-se-deben-mezclar\/\">Comment se d\u00e9roule la digestion et pourquoi certains aliments ne doivent pas \u00eatre m\u00e9lang\u00e9s.<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>D'autre part, la prise fr\u00e9quente de nourriture inhibe l'apparition de ce que l'on appelle le \"complexe moteur migratoire\" (CMM). Les CMM sont des mouvements de l'intestin qui se produisent apr\u00e8s la fin de la digestion, pendant la p\u00e9riode de je\u00fbne, lorsque l'estomac et les premi\u00e8res portions de l'intestin gr\u00eale sont libres de nourriture, et qui sont inhib\u00e9s lorsque nous mangeons \u00e0 nouveau. Ce sont les fameux \"gargouillements\" lorsque nous avons faim. Ces mouvements servent \u00e0 \u00e9liminer les d\u00e9chets de la digestion et \u00e0 les transf\u00e9rer dans le c\u00f4lon, afin qu'ils soient utilis\u00e9s par les bact\u00e9ries de notre gros intestin, et que ce qui reste soit \u00e9limin\u00e9 dans les selles. Si nous ne permettons pas \u00e0 notre intestin de faire fonctionner souvent le CMM parce que nous ne lui accordons pas de p\u00e9riodes de repos, nous favorisons l'accumulation des d\u00e9chets et l'inflammation qui s'ensuit, ainsi que la prolif\u00e9ration bact\u00e9rienne dans des endroits comme l'intestin gr\u00eale, appel\u00e9 SIBO, o\u00f9, en th\u00e9orie, il devrait y avoir un nombre limit\u00e9 de micro-organismes. C'est pourquoi de nombreuses personnes qui pratiquent le je\u00fbne intermittent ou des p\u00e9riodes de je\u00fbne plus longues signalent que l'une des premi\u00e8res choses qu'elles remarquent est une am\u00e9lioration de leur syst\u00e8me digestif (moins de ballonnements, par exemple).
